People who are living in rented units often have to deal with specific issues that other people never heard of. Issues like end of tenancy cleaning at the end of the lease period. Why is that? Well it's an obligation, written down in almost every contract. The last obligation- at the end of tenancy clean place has to be there. Of course, you don't have to wait the last second to start cleaning. You could manage constant cleanliness throughout the whole period of residence. How? Simple, by doing clean-ups on a regular basis.
Let's see what can be done about the cleanliness of the kitchen. Here are few basic tips that have no claims to be comprehensive, but are good foundation to start from. Firstly you have to get rid of the clutter. Get rid of all the stuff you are not going to use any more. Every time you put stuff in the refrigerator, make sure there is no food that is already spoiled. Wipe the hob every time you use it. The same goes for the surfaces of the oven as well. Wipe off the inside of the microwave every time you see it's dirty or better yet after each use. Use a bin that has led that will prevent the bad smells to start lying around the kitchen. Keep the surfaces clean by wiping them down every time you prepare food or you feel they're dirty.
Of course you could and you probably should use professional end of tenancy cleaning at the end, but till then you can't neglect the whole place. Therefore keep it clean.
