Many of the people, who are living in rented apartments often have to deal with one really hated chore-end of tenancy cleaning. One way or another you have to do it and there is no way you could avoid it. Unless, of course, you don't want to have withholds from the amount of your deposit.
One tricky way to get all clean and neat at all time is by cleaning as you go. In other words clean every time something spills, falls on the floor etc.
There are really lot of examples, that could be given, but our point is not to recite here. The first thing, that comes to my mind is a simple example
from the kitchen. Many people make the mistake not to take care of the oven after they are done cooking or they simply forget to do that. But the thing is that as soon the stains from over boiling are cleaned up, the easier that would be. If leave the grease to get dry and accumulate later with the next cooking, you will have to spend much more time at the end of the month or week cleaning it. Another example from the daily routine is the sink. After you are done shaving or brushing your teeth, just wash off any traces that probably have left. The toilet seat is another critical area. With a gentle wipe-down you could keep it clean at all times. Those and many other examples are being estimated at seconds of work. It's something, that you can do without a problem, but in most cases you don't. You are just saying “Well I have to clean it up anyway at the end of the week, why bother?” but until the end of the week everything will be dried out and you will have to invest a lot more work getting it done clean.
And at the end you will still probably have to use professional end of tenancy cleaning service, but the difference would be that you can save them some work, work which is measured in money. Money that could save.
