Clean The Kitchen Before You Move Out

Moving from one place to another is both scary, because of the unknown and exciting, because of the trill for new adventures. However, before you start the new phase of your life, you need to close the chapter, getting your deposit back from your former landlord.

For such reasons, you need to do some things and the most important one is your end of tenancy cleaning process. In most tenancy contracts there is a clause that obligates the tenant to do professional final cleaning of the rented property before he move out. Otherwise, he or she will not get his or her money back.

Cleaning the kitchen is one of the most important and toughest tasks. So, let me tell you some cleaning steps that you can follow when it comes to the kitchen as a part of your end of tenancy cleaning procedure.
  1. The refrigerator – You need to remove all the shelves and drawers and wash them by hand or in the dishwasher. Then clean the whole refrigerator inside and outside. When the shelves and the drawers are cleaned up, dry them and put them back on their places.

  2. The oven is probebly the hardest part of the whole kitchen cleaning procedure. So, you need to be well prepared. In that case, you have to use oven cleaner, to get the oven completely clean. However, firstly you need to read the safety instructions really carefully. Then you can put newspapers infront of the oven and apply two cans of the cleaning solution inside of the oven. Do not even think about to turn the oven on! After 24 hours clean with water and dry with a cloth.

  3. The sink – Remove everything from the sink and put some cleaning product in it. Then you can use an old tooth brush to scrub the stains, let sit for a few minutes and wash up with warm water.
