A wooden table with a glass cover is a stylish ornament in your living room. Usually you use it to have a drink with guests on it or if It is the only table in the kitchen you even dine on it. Surely it a beautiful furniture in the house but it is glass it gets easily stained.
For such tables usually it is advisable to use cover to prevent from getting stained and dirty. But to hide such beautiful object in the house with a plain cover is simply not stylish. You buy a vogue table which is lovely to the eye and hide it under a cover. I don't think that this is a solution.
People just need to take care of their furniture nothing more. A glass topped table requires a lot of cleaning but it is worth it. When cleaning SW3 such furniture you should clean both sides of the glass and the wood because the sunlight reflects all stains and finger marks on the glass. Usually when cleaning the table you should be careful not to damage the wood because you may accidentally scratch it or apply a cleaning solution not proper for wood.
What you can do is remove any leftovers or trash on the table. Then put some water on a blotter and wash the top and the bottom of the glass. After washing, dry off with a clean cloth. This procedure is used for greasy stains and leftovers from food, glasses or grease. After that you can use a cleaning solution suitable for wood, it works great also on the glass to make it shine. If you don't have a cleaning SW3 solution you can always use some vinegar but very little.
