How to Deal with a Spill In Your Oven

Spills in the oven are one of the most unpleasant parts of cooking. If you hate scrubbing burnt fats from the interior of your oven, it is best to act as soon as possible once a spill has occurred, following these simple steps:
    1. Once you have smelled the problem, you need to act immediately, sprinkle a layer of salt on the floor of your oven when the oven is still warm and the spill is not baked on.
    2. Put the oven mitts on and try to scrub the spill as hard as you can, while the oven is still warm. Be very careful when doing this, especially if you don't use oven mitts.

    3. Later when the oven is cool enough, take the oven racks out to make the fight with the spill easier. Oven cleaning London recommends that you use natural cleaners to remove dirt and make your oven sparkle. Utilize baking soda, salt, vinegar and water spray to clean the remainder. Your oven may not be sparkling at the end but undoubtedly, there will be no burning smell in your kitchen the next time you switch the oven on.

    4. In case, you have let the spill bake on, make a paste of backing soda and water and spread it over the dirty area. Leave it for at least 30 minutes and then use a plastic scraper to remove the residue.
Oven cleaning London also recommends orange-based cleaners. They are helpful in removing stubborn stains that baking soda and salt can't deal with. Of course, the best way to keep your oven clean is to avoid spills. Unfortunately, it is also impossible to do it.
