How to Clean Carpet with White Vinegar

There are many carpet cleaning products available on the market, but they can be expensive. Unlike them, white vinegar is an inexpensive product that can be used for many different cleaning tasks from table cleaning to carpet maintenance. Combined with other inexpensive products, white vinegar comes in handy when trying to remove stains from your carpet.

For effective results, you should know how to use properly the white vinegar as a cleaning product, and here are the instructions of Parsons Green cleaners:

  1. Get a spray bottle and mix equal parts water and white vinegar into it. Add one teaspoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of liquid dish soap, then shake the bottle to mix all ingredients together.
  2. When the stain is freshly acquired, place paper towels on the affected area. Press the towels towards the carpet to help them absorb the moisture. Avoid scrubbing the problematic area in order to prevent the stain from spreading into the carpet.
  3. When you have absorbed as much moisture as possible, spray onto the stained portion of the carpet with your cleaning solution until the area is wet again.
  4. Let the mixture sit on the carpet for about thirty minutes and dry the wet area just as it said in step 2.
  5. Dip a paper towel into water and wipe the area with it to rinse out the carpet.
  6. Repeat step 2 once more time in order to dry the carpet.

Keep in mind that for some stubborn stains you may need different approach, so call carpet cleaning Parsons Green for advices if the white vinegar is not helping.
