How To Effectively Remove Carpet Stains with Vinegar

Carpet stains will occur at some point of life, no matter how hard a person tries to avoid them. It is inevitable! Fortunately, you can easily deal with a stain when appears, using common household vinegar. Even the toughest stains, such as coffee, cola, and pet mess, will have no chance against the vinegar if you use it properly.

Instructions
  1. Get a clean spray bottle, and pour one part white vinegar with two parts cold water into it. Seal and shake the spray bottle to mix the ingredients well.
  2. Parsons Green cleaners recommend testing the vinegar solution onto an inconspicuous area of you carpet. Use a white cloth to blot dry and verify that the vinegar doesn't discolour the carpet.
  3. Blot the stained area of the carpet with paper towels to remove any stain-causing liquid.
  4. Apply the mixture to the stain liberally, and let it soak into the carpet for a few seconds.
  5. Make a stack of five to eight clean paper towels, and press the stack towards the affected area so that the paper towels to extract the stain form the carpet.
  6. Keep spraying vinegar solution and blotting the carpet until the stain is no longer visible. To ease the stain removing, you may wet the paper towels with the solution before blotting as long as you continue to spray the stained area, too.
  7. The scent of vinegar should disappear when the carpet dries. If not, consult with professionals such as carpet cleaning Clapham team.
