How to Clean Stuffed Toys With Baking Soda

As parents its our job to create one friendly and clean environment in our home, for our children. Stuffed animal toys and carpets are two things that absorb most of the dust in the house. Carpet cleaning is the first thing to think about when starting the cleaning process, after all, babies and toddlers spend a lot of time crawling around, then comes the toys disinfecting. The first thought that comes up in your mind is to place them in the washing machine, this is a good and effective idea. However not all toys can be placed in the washing machine because of the fabric they are made of. You need to read carefully the label and the instructions written on it, and follow them strictly.

When dealing with non-washable types of stuffed toys all you need is backing soda.

Place the animals in a plastic bag and sprinkle one cup of backing soda over them. You may use more or less powder depending on how big and how many are the toys. Shake the bag and let it sit that way at least overnight, to ensure that all mites and odors are removed. After that brush the toys to remove all traces of backing soda, if it is difficult to remove, you can even vacuum them. You need to look all stuffed toys very well to ensure that they do not have any loose buttons or  eyes before the vacuuming.

In case you have problems with the toys cleaning you can call London cleaners and ask for help or advice.
