Cleaning Solutions From the Pantry

There are a lot products and goods that have multiple purposes, and some of them even include cleaning. The cleaning applications of these products are not well know, and people rarely think that they can serve as a cleaning detergents. But they can and what is really great about that fact, is that you don't have to buy specific cleaning detergent which serves only one purpose, because you already have what you need in the kitchen pantry.

One of the better know product that has variety of cleaning applications in the white vinegar. White vinegar can be used to remove carpet and upholstery stains, clean windows and mirrors, or loosens the grime in the microwave ovens. Camden cleaners say that the cleaning applications of vinegar are countless.

But there are other products that have at least one cleaning application that you don't know about. For example, olive oil is not just a condiment you add to your salad, but a great wood polisher for hardwood floors and furniture. Pour just a few drops of olive oil on a clean cloth and use it to wipe away dust, scuff marks, fingertips from furniture. Olive oil can also clean and polish leather. Let it sit on the material for 30 minutes before rinsing it off.

Ketchup is another product that has similar purposes. The red sauce is a mild acid and can dissolve tarnish away from copper utensils. Just rub a little ketchup in the copper and rinse after the tarnish is gone. If you are having problems removing the tarnish just with ketchup then Camden cleaners recommend adding a pinch of table salt while you are polishing.

Vodka is another cleaning solution in disguise you don't suspect at all. The popular spirit drink can remove mould and mildew stains with relative ease. Just pour a little vodka in a spray bottle and squirt it over the stain. Let it sit for several minutes and scrub away with an old toothbrush.
