Easy Windows Cleaning with a Squeegee

When it comes to windows cleaning, cleaning supplies are much more important than cleaning solutions. If you have the right tools, it's not necessary to purchase a commercial windows cleaner, water can do perfect job.

It's best to buy one of the squeegees that professional windows cleaners use, because they completely dry windows so there are no streaks left. When purchasing a squeegee, keep in mind the size of your windows, especially if your window panes are small.

Once you've purchased the right squeegee, you don't need to waste money for commercial windows cleaners as a bucket of water is enough. In case, you want to use a spray, you need to utilize a cloth to spread the cleaner before drying with the squeegee. It's harder, don't you think so?

For deep cleaning dirty windows, you can purchase a window washer or you can use a regular cloth. For easy job, dilute the cleaner into a bucket, dip the washer and scrub the windows. If your windows are really dirty, you'd better use a cleaning mixture of 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 gallon of water. Again apply a little of the cleaning solution to the panes with the washer and scrub to remove stubborn stains.

Once you've scrubbed the dirt, it's time to get the squeegee and completely windows cleaning like a pro.
  1. Wet the squeegee before using it.
  2. Stroke horizontally at the very top of the window.
  3. Wipe off the squeegee after each swept.
  4. When you get to the bottom of the window, use another horizontal stroke, and then wipe the corner with a cloth.

The deep cleaning of your window is done. Of course, you need to repeat the entire procedure for each window. The final result will be clean and sparling windows.
