How to Make Homemade Carpet Cleaner

Carpets contribute a lot to a room's décor only when are properly maintained. A stained carpet can easily ruin the appearance of a whole room by making it look dirty and messy. The best way to get a carpet thoroughly cleaned is to use a shampooing machine that will extract the dirt from the carpet.

However, there are many shampoos on the market, all of which claim to be the best, making it a bit of confusing for you to choose one in which you can be sure that it works well. To avoid spending money on a product from which you may stay disappointed, make your own carpet cleaner that will effectively clean and deodorize your carpet. The ingredients are inexpensive and most of them you probably already have in your kitchen.
  1. Pour 1 gallon of hot water into a bucket, then add 2 scoops of OxiClean Stain Remover Powder to the water. Stir the solution with a spoon until the powder is completely dissolved.
  2. Add 1 cup of white vinegar to the mixture and mix well.
  3. Pour some of the solution into a spray bottle. Spray the solution on stains and heavily soiled areas of your carpet, then leave it to sit for about a half hour before continuing with the carpet cleaning.
  4. Fill the shampooing machine's reservoir with your cleaning solution and clean the carpet as usual by following the manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Store the unused carpet cleaner in a tightly sealed container out of the reach of children and pets, but have in mind that it is best to be used as soon as it has been made.
If you cannot deal with the cleaning of your carpet, consider hiring professionals, such as carpet cleaning Wimbledon, to come in and clean all of your carpet in the best possible way.
