Top Tips on How to Get Ready For Unexpected Guests

What do your friends do? Call you 10 minutes before they come by? This is mean, but I bet you love them and their surprise visits make you happy, more or less. But in order not to present yourself as a messy dirty person, you  should at least try to get your home in order. No time to clean, but you can still cover the mess up. Check the top tips on how to get ready for unexpected guests.

There is one certain way to always be ready to receive guests, when your home has been recently cleaned by carpet cleaning London, for example. You can either expect the unexpected and clean daily while anticipating guests to come by at any time, or get into the hyper speed cleaning mode. Cleaning or just covering the mess up, there is no difference now, providing that you don't have the time. It is not an excuse to let grime and dust overtake your home, this is regarded as wilful negligence.

Divide the remaining time in 3. The first 3-5 minutes you can spend on dusting. Don't forget the table tops and the TV set. They attract attention as they are placed in the living room and usually guests stare at them. Carpet cleaning is not a must now, but at least get pet hair away from the couch and use a scotch tape to remove it.

Check the bathroom and flush the toilet well. Use an air-freshener and leave the door open. It is a kind gesture towards guests as they won't have to look for the right room around the apartment. Turn on the lights and keep cleaning on the go.
One of the last things to do is collect whatever seems misplaced in the living room or the hall. Gather all the clutter in a box where you can see what is there in case you need to find something.
